DESCRIPTION

1-2157480-5 is a 50-position D-subminiature plug connector assembly from the AMPLIMITE Series 109, designed for IP67-rated applications requiring environmental sealing. The connector features an interfacial seal made of 80/20 fluorosilicone/silicone rubber blend with 40 durometer hardness, and a silicone rubber grommet per A-A-59588. The front and rear shells are constructed from steel per ASTM A 109 with cadmium plating over copper finish, while the insert material conforms to MIL-DTL-24308 specifications.
