DESCRIPTION

The 1-1761686-5 is a 50-position, center-polarized, IDC low-profile pin header designed for vertical PCB mounting. It features .025 inch square phosphor bronze posts on a .100 x .100 inch grid, with long ejection latches suitable for mating with receptacles that have a strain relief. The housing and latches are made from blue, UL 94V-0 rated PBT, and the posts have duplex plating with .000030 inches of gold on the mating surface and .000100 inches of tin on the solder area over a nickel underplate. This header provides a reliable wire-to-board connection for ribbon cables in various electronic equipment where secure mating and space efficiency are required.
