DESCRIPTION

The 1-102973-1 is a .100 inch AMPMODU breakaway header connector designed for PCB applications requiring reliable interconnection. It features 22 positions arranged in 2 rows with a 2.54 mm (0.100 inch) centerline spacing and row-to-row spacing, with a mating post length of 8.08 mm and termination post length of 3.18 mm. The connector utilizes gold-plated square phosphor bronze contacts with tin-lead over nickel plating on the solder tail, rated for 3 A continuous current with 750 V dielectric withstanding voltage and 5,000 MO insulation resistance. Operating over a temperature range of -65°C to +105°C and constructed from UL 94V-0 thermoplastic housing, this connector is wave solder capable to 240°C and compliant with UL E28476 and CSA LR7189 standards. The breakaway design allows headers to be broken to desired position counts using standard hand tools, making it ideal for flexible PCB interconnection in industrial and consumer electronics applications.
