DESCRIPTION

FSM4LPATR is a sealed tactile switch from the Alcoswitch brand featuring a compact 0.472 inch (12 mm) square body with a flush actuator, designed for surface mount applications. The switch incorporates a thermoplastic case and stem (UL94V-0 rated), stainless steel cover and contacts with silver plating, and copper alloy terminals with silver/nickel plating, providing excellent corrosion resistance and durability. It delivers a contact rating of 50 mA at 12 V DC with an initial contact resistance of 100 milliohms maximum, insulation resistance of 100 megaohms at 100 VDC, and dielectric strength of 500 VAC. The switch operates reliably across a temperature range of -4°F to +185°F (-20°C to +85°C) and features an actuation travel of 0.014 inches with a tolerance of ±0.008 inches, supporting up to 1,000,000 cycles of operation. With IP67 sealing and compliance with EIA-364-56 standards, this switch is ideal for sealed applications requiring high reliability in harsh environments, including industrial controls, consumer electronics, and medical devices.
