DESCRIPTION

The GPFM250-28G is a 250-watt medical-grade global performance switcher designed to convert AC input to regulated 28V DC output. It features a compact form factor of 5.0" × 8.0" × 1.75" with a power density of 3.6 watts/cu.in., power factor correction to IEC 1000-3-2 Class A, and medical approvals including UL2601-1, IEC601-1/60601-1, and CSA-C22.2 No. 601.1. The unit delivers 6.5A continuous output (unrestricted convection cooling) or 9A with 26 CFM airflow, with a 2% total regulation and ±5% voltage adjustment capability. Key protection features include overvoltage protection set at 34 ± 2.8V, thermal shutdown, power fail detection, and leakage current limited to 70 µA under normal conditions. This supply is ideal for medical equipment, industrial instrumentation, and applications requiring high reliability, compact packaging, and regulatory compliance in demanding environments.
