DESCRIPTION

The SMFH37 is a Class 20 heater element designed to provide overload protection for motors used with Class SMF manual and magnetic starters. This component is specifically selected for motors with a full-load current ranging from 4.33 to 4.90 Amps. For proper application, the element is chosen using 100% of the motor's full-load current for motors with a 1.15 to 1.25 service factor, or 90% for motors with a 1.0 service factor. All specifications are based on the motor and controller operating in the same ambient temperature of 40°C (104°F) or less. The SMFH37 ensures reliable motor protection in various industrial control scenarios.
