DESCRIPTION

The A4890 is a panel-mount solid-state relay designed for switching heavy industrial AC loads with SCR output technology. It features a 50 A rated load current at 48–530 VAC operating voltage, 90–280 Vrms AC control input, and supports both zero voltage and instantaneous turn-on switching modes. The relay offers a maximum on-state voltage drop of 1.15 Vrms at rated current, thermal resistance of 0.45 °C/W junction to case, and a 1 cycle surge current rating of 597 A peak at 50 Hz. It is rated for -40 °C to +80 °C ambient operating temperature, provides 4000 Vrms dielectric strength between input/output/base, and achieves an MTBF of 7,210,376 hours at 60 °C ambient. The A4890 is ideal for motor control, heating element switching, and other heavy industrial applications requiring reliable AC load management with UL/CSA/TUV approval and CE compliance to EN60950-1.
