DESCRIPTION

The 3BTF6-46..162 is a Klixon® Tiny Stat precision thermostat designed for remote sensing applications in space-constrained environments. This hermetically sealed, snap-acting thermal switch features an extremely fast response time and operates across a wide temperature range from 0°F to 350°F (-17.8°C to 176.7°C) with a consistent 30°F (16.7°C) differential and ±8°F (±4.4°C) tolerance. The device is single pole, single throw (SPST) configuration with preset, non-adjustable calibration, gold-plated contacts, and nitrogen back-fill for reliable hermetic sealing. Its compact envelope and lightweight construction make it ideal for applications requiring early warning of overheat conditions, meeting demanding shock and vibration standards per MIL-PRF-24236, and are commonly used in aerospace, automotive, and industrial thermal management systems.
