3001024 is a Static Shielding Bag 1000 Series open-top design manufactured by SCS to provide electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection for sensitive electronic components. The bag is constructed from a polyester, metal, and polyethylene laminate with a static dissipative coating on the exterior and aluminum shield layer, providing discharge shielding while allowing electrostatic charges to be removed when grounded. Key physical characteristics include a tensile strength of 4600 PSI (32 MPa), puncture resistance of 12 lbs (53 N), seal strength of 11 lbs (48 N), and a thickness of 2.8 mils (0.071 mm ±10%), with 40% transparency for product visibility. Electrically, the bag achieves ESD shielding of less than 10 nJ, surface resistance of 1×104 to <1×10¹¹ ohms on the interior and <1×10¹¹ ohms on the exterior, and static decay of less than 2 seconds. The bag meets ANSI/ESD S20.20, ANSI/ESD S541, and ANSI/ESD S11.4 Level 3 standards, making it ideal for protecting sensitive electronics during storage, handling, and transport in commercial applications.
