DESCRIPTION

The 100818 is a 3M Static Shielding Bag SCC 1000 with metal-in construction, sized 8" × 18", designed to provide a static-safe environment for sensitive electronic devices. It features a four-layer polyester/metal/polyethylene laminate construction where the polyester dielectric and aluminum metal layer provide Faraday effect shielding of electrostatic discharge (ESD) and electromagnetic fields, while specially processed polyethylene minimizes tribocharging. The bag meets or exceeds electrical and physical requirements of ANSI/ESD S541, EIA 625, and is ANSI/ESD S20.20 program compliant. It is ideal for protecting sensitive components during storage, handling, and transport in electronics manufacturing and assembly environments.
