DESCRIPTION
05111179171 is a Dri-Shield 3400 series foil moisture barrier bag designed to protect ESD-sensitive and moisture-sensitive electronics, particularly SMT components. The bag features a laminate construction of polyester, foil, and polyethylene with a thickness of 4 mils (0.1016 mm ±10%), providing excellent moisture vapor transmission rate of =0.0003 grams/100 sq. in./24 hrs and ESD shielding of less than 10 nJ. It offers tensile strength of 6000 PSI (41 MPa), puncture resistance of 20 lbs (88 N), and seal strength of 15 lbs (66 N). The bag is heat sealable at 400°F (204°C) and suitable for vacuum packaging, with surface resistance ranging from 1 x 104 to less than 1 x 10¹¹ ohms on both interior and exterior surfaces. Common applications include protecting moisture-sensitive devices during storage and shipping, complying with ANSI/ESD S541, ANSI/ESD S11.4 Level 1, and IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033 standards.
