DESCRIPTION

The SS-112-G-2 is a standard single-row, precision machined socket strip with 12 positions. It features a 2.54 mm pitch and is constructed with a black glass-filled polyester insulator, Beryllium Copper (BeCu) contacts, and a brass shell. The -G plating option specifies 30 µ" (0.76 µm) gold on the contacts and 10 µ" (0.25 µm) gold on the shell, both over a 50 µ" nickel underplate. This component operates over a wide temperature range from -55 °C to +125 °C and accepts lead diameters from 0.38 mm to 0.56 mm. As a RoHS-compliant part suitable for wave soldering, it is ideal for high-reliability applications requiring durable interconnects.
