DESCRIPTION

CS1012U is an open-loop unipolar current sensor from the CSXX12U series designed to detect and measure current direction with a single channel configuration. The sensor features a rated current of 10 A RMS (20 A peak) with a linearity range up to 20 A peak, operating from a 12 V supply with typical current consumption of 25 mA maximum. It provides an output voltage of 5.0 V at rated current with a zero current offset voltage of 1.0 V, output voltage linearity of ±0.5%, and a response time of 3 µs. The device operates over a temperature range of -10°C to +75°C with excellent temperature stability (±0.1%/°C output voltage drift and ±1.5 mV/°C offset voltage drift). CS1012U is ideal for power management, motor control, and industrial current monitoring applications where reliable current sensing and fast response are required.
