DESCRIPTION

The 045-0323R is a Mini DIN connector from the MD-SMK series designed for PCB-mount applications with right-angle orientation and side shielding featuring kinked pins for enhanced retention. This connector supports multiple pin configurations (3 to 8 pins) and is constructed with phosphor bronze contact terminals plated with silver, a brass earth terminal with tin plating, and a steel shield plate with tin plating, all housed in PBT material. The connector is rated for 100 Vac input voltage (12 Vdc equivalent), with a maximum rated input current of 2 A at 12 Vdc, contact resistance of 30 mO, and insulation resistance of 50 MO at 250 Vdc. Insertion and withdrawal forces are specified at 1 N and 0.8 N respectively, with a voltage withstand rating of 3 kV for 1 minute.
