DESCRIPTION

The R-78B3.3-1.5L is a high-efficiency DC/DC switching regulator designed as a pin-compatible replacement for 78xx linear regulators. It operates over a wide input voltage range of 4.75V to 18V, delivering a regulated 3.3V output with a maximum current of 1.5A. This model achieves a high efficiency of up to 91%, eliminating the need for a heatsink, and features low output ripple and noise, typically 15mVp-p. The 'L' version's 90° pins are ideal for low-profile or height-restricted applications, while integrated short-circuit protection ensures robust operation.
