DESCRIPTION

The 80000049 is a 1.0 Amp single-output switching regulator from the R-78C-1.0 series, intended to replace inefficient 78xx linear regulators. It features a very high efficiency of up to 96%, which minimizes energy loss as heat and often removes the need for a heatsink. The device operates over a wide input voltage range up to 42VDC and includes built-in continuous short circuit protection and thermal shutdown for robust performance. Due to its compact, low-profile package and high efficiency, this DC/DC converter is ideal for a wide range of industrial and electronic applications where power savings and board space are critical.
