DESCRIPTION

The 2807599 is a Type 2 surge protection plug designed to protect 230 V AC IT systems when installed in a VAL-MS base element. It features a high-capacity varistor and provides a nominal discharge current (In) of 20 kA and a maximum discharge current (Imax) of 40 kA. This plug-in module includes thermal monitoring and a visual, mechanical fault indicator for easy status assessment. With a maximum continuous operating voltage (UC) of 385 V AC and a voltage protection level (Up) of 1.8 kV or less, it safeguards connected equipment. The pluggable design with mechanical coding allows for quick and error-free replacement, making it ideal for protecting low-voltage power supply installations.
