DESCRIPTION
The AFPX-COM5 is a communication cassette designed for Panasonic FP-X series programmable controllers, enabling simultaneous Ethernet and RS232C connectivity. This cassette provides one Ethernet channel supporting 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX standards, plus one RS232C channel for serial communication, allowing up to three total communication ports when combined with the tool port. The cassette consumes 3W or less of power and weighs approximately 25g, making it a compact addition to the control unit. It is attachable to positions A (upper and lower) on C30 and C60 control units, facilitating easy data collection, remote program management, and integration with SCADA systems and measuring instruments in industrial automation applications.
