DESCRIPTION

The H11L1M is a high-speed optocoupler that optically couples a gallium-arsenide infrared emitting diode to an integrated circuit detector. Its output incorporates a Schmitt trigger, providing hysteresis for enhanced noise immunity and pulse shaping, and utilizes an open-collector configuration for application flexibility. This device operates over a wide supply voltage range from 3V to 15V and features a maximum turn-on threshold current of 1.6 mA. With a typical data rate of 1 MHz, the H11L1M is ideal for applications such as logic-to-logic isolation, line receivers, AC to TTL conversion, and interfacing computers with peripherals.
