DESCRIPTION

The ESD5Z2.5T1G is a transient voltage suppressor designed to protect sensitive components from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and transient voltages. It operates with a working peak reverse voltage of 2.5 V and exhibits a low maximum reverse leakage current of 6.0 µA. This device provides excellent clamping capability, with a maximum clamping voltage of 6.5 V at a 5.0 A peak pulse current and can handle a peak power dissipation of 110 W. Featuring a fast response time of typically less than 1 ns and a typical capacitance of 120 pF, it is highly effective for high-speed applications. Due to its small SOD-523 package, the ESD5Z2.5T1G is ideal for use in cellular phones, portable devices, digital cameras, and power supplies where board space is at a premium.
