DESCRIPTION

The PFE5K8R50E is a Powr-Rib® edgewound resistor designed for high power capacity and low resistance applications. It provides a resistance of 8.5 ohms, a power rating of 751 watts, and a continuous current rating of 9.4 amps. This rugged resistor is constructed with a heavy resistance alloy on ceramic insulators, supported by a metal mounting bracket.
