DESCRIPTION

The F40J50RE is a 40W power resistor from Ohmite's 250 'Thin' Stackohm® series, designed for applications with space limitations. It provides a resistance of 50Ω with a ±5% tolerance and features an all-welded construction with a ceramic core and a lead-free vitreous enamel coating. The resistor's low-profile, oval shape includes integral mounting brackets that allow for stacking and efficient heat sinking to a chassis, and it supports a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VAC. This durable, RoHS-compliant resistor is ideal for installation in equipment with height restrictions or limited surface area where reliable power dissipation is required.
