DESCRIPTION

The E300K2R5E is a 300-watt adjustable power resistor from the Corrib® series, featuring a resistance of 2.5Ω with a ±10% tolerance. It is constructed with a corrugated resistive wire fused to a tubular ceramic core and finished with a lead-free vitreous enamel coating to accelerate cooling and enhance durability. This heavy-duty resistor has a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VAC, a temperature coefficient of ±400 ppm/°C, and can handle an overload of 10 times its rated wattage for 5 seconds. Its robust, hollow-core design makes it ideal for high-current applications requiring frequent start-stop cycles, such as motor starting and dynamic braking.
