DESCRIPTION

The E300K2R0E is a heavy-duty, adjustable power resistor from the Corrib® 280 Series, providing 2.0 ohms of resistance with a power rating of 300 watts. It features a ribbed construction on a tubular ceramic core, which aids in rapid cooling, and is coated with lead-free vitreous enamel for durability. This RoHS compliant component has a resistance tolerance of ±10%, a temperature coefficient of ±400 ppm/°C, and can withstand an overload of 10 times its rated wattage for 5 seconds. Designed to endure frequent start-stop cycles, it is ideal for high-current, low-resistance applications such as motor starting and dynamic braking.
