DESCRIPTION

The C300K1R0E is a 300-watt, fixed power resistor from the Corrib® 280 series, featuring a resistance of 1.0 ohm with a ±10% tolerance. Constructed with a lead-free vitreous enamel coating over a tubular ceramic core, its ribbed design aids in rapid cooling. This RoHS-compliant resistor has a temperature coefficient of ±400 ppm/°C and can withstand an overload of 10 times its rated wattage for 5 seconds. Engineered for equipment requiring high current capacity at low ohmic values, it is especially suited for applications like motor starting and dynamic braking.
