DESCRIPTION

The AW470KE is a non-inductive, ceramic composite resistor from the PulsEater® A Series, specifically designed for applications subject to high surges, peak power, or impulse energy. It features a resistance of 47 ohms with a ±10% tolerance, a power rating of 2.5 watts, and can withstand a single impulse energy of 400 joules at up to 1500 volts. Its bulk ceramic construction allows for uniform energy distribution, and it is coated with a solvent-resistant epoxy carrying a UL94V0 flammability rating. Common applications include motor drives, power supplies, UPS systems, power conversion, and in-rush current limiting.
