DESCRIPTION

The MIC37101-2.5YM-TR is a 1A low-dropout linear voltage regulator designed to provide a fixed 2.5V output. It features a very low typical dropout voltage of 280mV at a 1A load and a guaranteed maximum dropout of 500mV over all operating conditions. This µCap LDO is stable with a 10µF ceramic output capacitor and offers 1% initial output voltage accuracy. The device includes an enable input for on-off control, an error flag for under-voltage detection, and is fully protected with current limiting and thermal shutdown. Housed in a power SO-8 package, it is ideal for applications like PC add-in cards, battery-powered systems, and high-efficiency post-regulation.
