DESCRIPTION

The MCP3918A1T-E/SS is a 3V single-channel Analog Front End (AFE) that integrates a 24-bit delta-sigma Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC). It delivers high performance with 93.5 dB SINAD and -107 dBc Total Harmonic Distortion (THD), and includes a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) with gain settings up to 32 V/V. The device supports programmable data rates up to 125 ksps and contains a low-drift 1.2V internal voltage reference. Communication is handled via a high-speed 20 MHz SPI-compatible serial interface. Packaged in a 20-lead SSOP for an extended temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, this AFE is ideal for applications such as energy metering, power measurement, portable instrumentation, and medical monitoring.
