DESCRIPTION

The SCH628R is a panel alarm from the Mallory Sonalert SCH series that produces a medium-level, continuous audible signal. It operates on a voltage range of 6 to 28 Vdc and draws a maximum current between 3 and 18 mA. This device emits a 2900 Hz tone with a sound pressure level of 68 to 80 dBa measured at 2 feet. The alarm is housed in a 1.69 x 0.81-inch enclosure with screw terminals for easy installation. Certified for hazardous locations (Class I, Div II) and rated to IP-66 and NEMA 3R/4X/12 standards, it is ideal for industrial process control and safety signaling applications in harsh environments.
