DESCRIPTION

The PT-2040PQ is a direct drive audio transducer that requires an external signal for operation. It features a resonant frequency of 4000 ± 500 Hz and delivers a minimum sound pressure level of 90 dB at 10 cm when supplied with its 5 Vp-p rated voltage. The component has a maximum current consumption of 1.5 mA, can handle up to 30 Vp-p, and operates over a wide temperature range of -20°C to +90°C. Lacking internal drive circuitry, this transducer offers design flexibility for various custom alarm, alert, and signaling applications.
