DESCRIPTION

The 401003 is a fast-acting indicator fuse rated at 3 amperes with 125 VAC and 60 VDC voltage ratings, designed for telecommunications equipment and similar applications requiring reliable circuit protection. The fuse features a color-coded indicator flag (blue) that extends a minimum of 3/16" from the end of the fuse when blown, and a silver-plated indicating pin for visual fault detection. It operates with a minimum opening time of 10 minutes at 100% of ampere rating and a maximum opening time of 5 minutes at 150% of ampere rating, providing fast protection for sensitive solid-state devices. The fuse body is constructed from black phenolic material with UL 94V0 flammability rating, and contacts are made of bright alloy-plated beryllium copper. With dimensions of 1.58" length and 0.77" width, and UL recognition through the Components Program, this fuse is ideal for telecommunications systems and equipment requiring dependable overcurrent protection with visual indication.
