DESCRIPTION

The VVCTC00-000 is a V-Series Contura II sealed snap-in rocker switch designed for applications requiring robust environmental protection and reliable switching performance. It features single or double pole circuit options with contact ratings of 15 A at 125 VAC, 10 A at 250 VAC, and 20 A at 4–14 VDC, with a dielectric strength of 1500 Vrms and insulation resistance of 50 MO. The switch is sealed to IP66/68 standards, providing complete protection against dust and powerful jets of water, and meets UL 1500 ignition protection requirements for marine products. Operating across a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, it withstands vibration (0.06 DA or 10 G's at 10–500 Hz), shock, thermal shock, salt spray, and moisture exposure per military standards. The switch features silver alloy contacts with an initial contact resistance of 10 mO maximum at 4 VDC and an endurance rating of 150,000 cycles minimum. Common applications include marine electrical systems, industrial control panels, and harsh-environment switching where sealed construction and corrosion resistance are critical.
