DESCRIPTION

KST221G is a long travel tactile switch designed for surface mount technology (SMT) applications with momentary operation. It features a rubber actuator with a soft 5 mm travel, silver contact material, and gullwing (G) terminals compatible with pick and place machines. The switch provides an operating force of 2 N (200 grams) ±30%, SPST normally open contact arrangement, and supports switching voltage from 20 mV to 30 V with switching current from 1 mA to 50 mA. With an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C and contact resistance below 100 mO, this switch is suitable for front panel controls, car dashboards, telephone sets, and instrumentation applications.
