DESCRIPTION

ASKHC2W04AC is a general-purpose snap-acting switch from the A Series designed for low-cost, high-performance switching applications. The switch features a plastic plunger actuator with options for single pole (SP) or double pole (DP) configurations, supporting contact ratings from low level conditions up to 25 AMPS at 277V AC. Key technical characteristics include an electrical life of 75,000 cycles at 25 AMPS and 250V AC, or 200,000 cycles at 15 AMPS and 250V AC, with an insulation resistance of 1,000 MO minimum and dielectric strength of 1,000 Vrms minimum at sea level. The switch operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 85°C with operating forces ranging from 5 oz (142 grams) to 40 oz (1,134 grams) depending on configuration. Common applications include enclosure equipment, garage door openers, and vending machines, where reliable snap-acting switching and long electrical life are essential.
