DESCRIPTION

142-9403-011 is a plug assembly featuring a straight non-magnetic SMA connector designed for use with RG 316 cable in RF and microwave applications. The connector body, nut, contact, and crimp sleeve are constructed from copper with gold plating at 0.00005 inches minimum over copper plating at 0.00005 inches minimum, ensuring excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. The insulator is made from Teflon, and the retention spring is fabricated from unplated beryllium copper for reliable mechanical performance. This assembly is qualified to MIL-STD-202 standards including shock (Method 213, Condition I), vibration (Method 204, Condition D), and moisture resistance (Method 106) testing, making it suitable for demanding military and aerospace RF interconnect applications.
