DESCRIPTION

131-8701-201 is a jack assembly vertical PC mount mini-75 ohm SMB connector designed for RF and signal transmission applications. The connector features a brass body with cold, nickel, and copper plating, beryllium copper contacts with multi-layer plating, and a teflon insulator, providing excellent electrical and mechanical performance. It operates at 75 ohm impedance with a frequency range of 0–2 GHz, a maximum working voltage of 335 VRMS at sea level, and a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VRMS minimum. The connector exhibits an initial contact resistance of 6 milliohms for the center contact, an isolation resistance of 1000 megohm minimum, and an engage/disengage force of 14 lbs maximum. With a durability rating of 500 cycles minimum and operating temperature range of -65°C to 165°C, this connector is suitable for RF equipment, telecommunications, and high-frequency signal applications requiring reliable vertical mounting on printed circuit boards.
