DESCRIPTION

The 131-8409-101 is a right-angle cabled mini-75 ohm SMB plug assembly designed for RG59/U coaxial cable termination. The connector features a brass body with cold plating (0.00001 inch minimum over nickel and copper), beryllium copper contacts with cold plating (0.00003 inch minimum over nickel and copper), and a Teflon insulator for reliable RF performance. Key mechanical specifications include an engagement/disengagement force of 14 lbs maximum, contact retention of 4 lbs minimum axial force, cable retention of 40 lbs minimum, and a durability rating of 500 cycles minimum. Electrical performance includes insertion loss of 60 dB maximum at 1.5 GHz, RF leakage of -55 dB minimum at 2 GHz, and RF high potential withstanding voltage of 700 VRMS minimum at 4 and 7 MHz, with an operating temperature range of -65°C to +165°C. This connector is ideal for RF and microwave applications requiring reliable coaxial cable connections in demanding environments.
