DESCRIPTION

MS3106E18-1S is a military-specification circular connector socket featuring a straight plug configuration with threaded coupling and endbell with clamp and bushing. It accommodates 10 contacts of size 16 with solder cup termination and hard silver plating, providing reliable electrical connections in demanding environments. The connector operates at a contact rating of 22 A at +20°C with a contact resistance of 6 mO, and supports a test voltage of 1600 Vrms with insulator resistance exceeding 1000 MO. The aluminum alloy shell with olive drab chromate coating over cadmium plating ensures corrosion resistance, including 500 hours of salt spray resistance, while the neoprene insulator and gromet material maintain performance across an ambient temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. With a coupling torque of 8 Nm maximum for closing and a minimum of 500 mating cycles, this connector is ideal for aerospace, military, and industrial applications requiring robust, high-reliability interconnections.
