MDM-31SCBRM7T is a Micro-D metal shell connector designed for highly reliable, lightweight applications requiring microminiature interconnections with high contact density. The connector features 31 contacts arranged in a standard configuration with 0.050" (1.27 mm) contact spacing, utilizing size 24 MICROPIN/MICROSOCKET contacts. The aluminum shell provides enhanced structural strength, prevents chipping and cracking, and offers electromagnetic (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) shielding. A silicone elastomer compression interfacial seal provides moisture and humidity protection between each contact. The connector dimensions include a maximum shell length (A) of 0.951 inches (24.16 mm), width (B) of 0.252 inches (6.40 mm), and depth (C) of 1.115 inches (28.34 mm), with an average weight of 0.139 ounces (3.96 grams).
