DESCRIPTION
MDM-15PBSL56-A174 is a 15-contact Micro-D PCB connector plug designed for high-density, high-reliability board-to-board, board-to-cable, and cable-to-cable applications. It features a metal shell with electroless nickel finish (A174), straight board mount (BS) termination, and Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) insulator material with 0.050" (1.27 mm) contact spacing. The connector offers a dielectric withstanding voltage of 600 VAC at sea level, insulation resistance of 5,000 megohms minimum, and contact resistance of 8 milliohms maximum at 3 amps. It is rated for 500 mating cycles and withstands thermal shock from -55°C to +125°C, vibration up to 20 G's, and physical shock up to 50 G's. This connector is ideal for use with flex circuitry, flat cable, printed circuit boards, and multi-layer boards in demanding aerospace and military applications.
