DESCRIPTION
MDM-100SBSPL57 is a 100-contact Micro-D metal shell PCB socket (receptacle) connector designed for high-density, high-reliability interconnect applications. It features straight PCB termination (BS type) with jackpost mounting hardware and an extended termination tail length of 0.190 inches (4.83 mm). The connector utilizes a Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) insulator and offers 0.050-inch contact spacing with a 0.100 x 0.100 inch grid pattern for PCB termination. Key electrical specifications include dielectric withstanding voltage of 600 VAC at sea level, insulation resistance of 5,000 megohms minimum, and contact resistance of 8 milliohms maximum at 3 amps. This connector is ideal for flex circuitry, flat cable, printed circuit boards, and multi-layer board applications requiring reliable board-to-board or board-to-cable connections.
