DESCRIPTION

The 095482-0080 is a 21-contact Micro D plastic shell connector featuring a pin gender configuration with 0.050 inch contact spacing. It utilizes gold-plated copper alloy contacts with solder pot termination designed to accept #26 AWG maximum harness wire, providing a contact resistance of 8 milliohms maximum. The connector is constructed with a glass-filled thermoset plastic shell and diallyl phthalate insulator with mounting holes, coupled with a standard jackscrew for secure mating. It is rated for 3 A maximum current and 600 VAC dielectric withstanding voltage at sea level, with insulator resistance exceeding 5000 megohms minimum. The connector demonstrates robust environmental performance across thermal shock (-55°C to +125°C), physical shock (50 G's), vibration (20 G's, 10-2000 Hz), and 500 mating/unmating cycles, making it suitable for demanding aerospace, military, and industrial applications requiring reliable interconnection.
