DESCRIPTION

The M24308/23-2Z, also known as ITT Cannon part number DAMM15SM, is a 15-position environmental D-subminiature socket connector from the D*D series. It is constructed with a rugged aluminum shell that is cadmium plated with a yellow chromate supplementary coating for superior corrosion resistance. The connector contains 15 non-removable, factory-installed socket contacts made of gold-plated copper alloy. These contacts feature solder pot terminations designed to accommodate up to #20 AWG stranded wire. Designed to meet the requirements of MIL-C-24308, this connector provides excellent vibration and moisture resistance. Its robust, environmentally sealed design makes it ideal for demanding applications in aircraft, missile systems, and ground support equipment.
