DESCRIPTION

GDAY15PB is a 15-pin D-Sub connector designed to provide high-reliability and moisture protection in demanding environments. The connector features a low carbon steel shell with yellow chromate over cadmium finish, copper alloy contacts with gold over nickel plating, and a thermoplastic insulator (PCT UL 94V-0) rated for continuous operation from -65°C to +150°C. It supports a maximum current rating of 7.5 A per contact, a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VAC at sea level, and maintains contact resistance below 10 mO. With 500 mating cycles and dual float mount capability, this connector is well-suited for aerospace, military, and industrial control systems where environmental protection and long-term reliability are essential.
