DESCRIPTION

The DDMM-50P-L is a high-reliability D-Sub connector featuring 50 contacts (size 20) in a pin configuration with right-angle solder termination. This connector is designed to support wire gauges from AWG 20-28 and delivers a maximum current rating of 7.5 A per contact with a contact resistance of 7.5 milli Ohm maximum. The connector operates reliably across a wide temperature range of -55°C to +150°C and withstands a dielectric voltage of 1000 VAC at sea level, with a rated lifespan of 500 mating cycles. The shell is constructed from steel with yellow chromate over zinc finish, while the insulator is made from thermoplastic PCT material (UL 94V-0) in black, and contacts are copper alloy with 50 microinch gold over 40 microinch nickel plating. This connector is ideal for demanding applications in military, aerospace, and industrial equipment where robust interconnection and environmental resistance are essential.
