The connector operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C, withstands 500 VAC dielectric voltage, and is rated for 500 mating cycles. The shell is constructed from steel with yellow chromate over zinc finish, while the insulator is thermoplastic (PCT UL 94V-0) in black, with gold over nickel plated copper alloy contacts.
