DESCRIPTION

DCA-37S-A197-F0 is a 37-contact D-Sub socket connector designed as a crimp connector without pre-installed contacts, allowing for custom contact selection and installation. The connector accommodates wire gauges from AWG 20-28 and features a steel shell with tin finish and thermoplastic insulator (PCT UL 94V-0) in black. It supports a maximum current rating of 5 A, dielectric withstanding voltage of 500 VAC at sea level, and contact resistance of 15 milli Ohm maximum, with operating temperatures ranging from -55°C to +105°C. The connector utilizes stamped copper alloy contacts with gold over nickel finish and crimp termination, mounted via 0.120" (3.05 mm) through holes. This design is ideal for applications requiring customizable contact configurations, such as industrial instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and aerospace/defense equipment where reliability and environmental resistance are essential.
