DESCRIPTION

The NRPS10-1A is a slim-type PC board circuit protector designed for overcurrent protection in electronic equipment and computer systems. It features thermal tripping via bimetal mechanism that eliminates erroneous interruption due to inrush currents, making it superior to traditional fuses for circuits with high inrush current demands. The device is rated for 1A continuous current with 1NC (normally closed) contact configuration and is available in non-sealed form for manual soldering applications. It is reusable for up to 200 tripping operations at 200% rated current, offering superior economic efficiency and reduced maintenance compared to fuses. The NRPS10-1A is recognized by Underwriters Laboratories under UL1077 as a Supplementary Protector and is commonly used in office machines, computer power lines, peripheral equipment, and other consumer electronics requiring reliable overcurrent protection.
