DESCRIPTION

The HR6S-AF1P is a safety relay module designed to protect operators and machines by immediately stopping dangerous movements when instructed by the operator or when a failure in the safety circuit is detected. It features 3 normally open relay contacts with a maximum continuous current rating of 6 A and a maximum total thermal current of 12 A, supporting emergency stop monitoring per ISO 13850 and IEC 60204-1 stop category 0, as well as guard monitoring with interlock switches and coded magnetic switches. The module achieves Performance Level PLe Category 4 and Safety Integrity Level 3 (SIL 3) with a mean time to dangerous failure of 2,000 years and diagnostic coverage exceeding 99%. With a 20-year lifetime at 55 °C ambient temperature and supply voltage of 24V AC/DC, the HR6S-AF1P is ideal for building comprehensive safety systems in production equipment, press machines, and other industrial applications requiring high-reliability fault detection and safe shutdown.
