DESCRIPTION

The HBL5479C is a heavy-duty flanged receptacle designed for industrial power distribution applications, rated at 20A 250V with a 2-pole 3-wire grounding configuration conforming to NEMA 6-20R standard. The device features a nylon top and polycarbonate base with brass power contacts (.040" thick) and brass terminal screws (#8-32 with multiple drive), supporting #14–#10 AWG copper conductors via side wire termination. It withstands a minimum dielectric voltage of 2,000V and maintains a maximum 30°C temperature rise at full rated current after 50 cycles of 150% overload, with operating temperatures ranging from -40°C to +75°C continuous. The receptacle is UL listed (File E2186, Standard 498) and CSA certified (C22.2 No. 42), meeting NEMA WD-6 requirements and UL 94 V2 flammability standards.
